European Body Painting Festival Photos and Review © Sepp
This was my first time to the European Body Painting Festival. I did not stay into the late night, so unfortunately I missed the human "fire dance" which received good word of mouth.
The event was well organized and I found food and drink to be reasonably priced. Tourists were friendly as were the models... although one of the young women was clearly uncomfortable being photographed until she had lots of paint on her body. The other models more or less accepted the deal: By buying an entrance ticket the visitor is free to take all the photographs he or she wants. There was no full-nudity body painting... only top-freedom is allowed by the organization.
Weather was a bit cool for the season, but in the afternoon very comfortable.
I reccomend this event, but with one small concern: there is already a lot of photographers present. Making the event even more popular would mean to have a poor ratio between topless women and photographers.
Tips: Every male person should be very polite and say thanks to the models. (Some of the models are willing to pose a bit according to what the photographer wants. It depends on the personal relation you can establish).
