Annual Mooning of Amtrak

Not afraid to show your bum in public? This is the event for you!

Although this event can be difficult to figure out, it has been going strong for longer than most of the events we know about. Mooning the Amtrak train in Laguna Niguel started as a dare for free drinks, and while the free drinks are officially OFF the table it doesn't stop thousands of people from mooning the Amtrak line each year.


The neat thing about the event is that there are no organizers, no rules, and the fact that you have two options of how you can enjoy the day. First and foremost you can moon the train as it passes. This is one hundred percent free since there will be no one taking a ticket from you to drop your trousers and shake it. The other option is to go on down to the Amtrak station, board the train, get a good seat, sit back, and enjoy the show! The former option, unfortunately, will cost you money, however.

There's not a whole lot else to say about the event, really, so just make sure you get there on time (the train's arrival can vary), be aware that there are a lot of people in attendance, so watch out for cars and other people. Take lots of photos, and have a great time!
