The Folsom Street Fair is the last day of a S/M - leather fetish weekend. I've not been to the other days, but I don't think there are any nude events there. The street fair is on Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM. There are a couple of males who routinely show up, one masturbates for the crowd each year - and I do believe he is straight. There is certainly a gay component as well, although much of the fair is more fetish oriented than gay oriented. If you search for a hotel between about 5th and 11th and within several blocks of Folsom Street (Market Street is only 2 blocks away) you should be in walking distance.
There is a website for the fair, and it's little brother event, Up Your Alley (which really is predominantly gay). I'm certain the link is on Cocco's calendar.
You may want to check out a place called The Power Exchange while you are there. It has separate gay and straight floors (although the straight floors ave a transgender element). I've not been there, but have read postings about it. They also have a website if you do a search.
The Exotic-Erotic Ball, held the third Saturday in October is another event you can be nude at.

: The Folsom Street Fair interests me. There aren’t too many places where a man can walk down a packed city street naked. I’d be in Fantasy Land doing that.
: I’m hoping to make it there this year. I’ll walk around totally naked for a while then I’d like to wear a costume that will attract attention in a crowd of attention whores. I want lots of people taking pictures of me with clothed and unclothed women. Right now I’m thinking of body paint.
: I’ve worn very risqué costumes in public before at Mardi Gras and in Greenwich Village on Halloween but I’ve never been to an event where I could just walk around naked. I’m straight but I’ll be comfortable with the gay throng around me. In the village I went bar hopping wearing nothing but leather harnesses with a mesh g-string. I bought the stuff in a gay men’s store. They told me I’d fit into the Halloween crowd. It turned out I had one of the more revealing costumes I saw on the street but I didn’t get any hassles.
: Some questions for people familiar with the Folsom Street fair:
: 1.When should I arrive and depart? I’ve read that the street fair is the end of a weeklong event. I was considering arriving Thursday and leaving Monday.
: 2.Where should I stay? I’d prefer to be somewhere close to the event. If I can get to my room easily I may do more that one costume for the day. I can devise a brief cover-up if I only have to go a short distance.
