I haven't been to Hawksbill, just by it on a cat cruise when I was staying at another hotel on the island. From a distance (oooh, I feel a song coming on), it looks fine, with a fairly decent beach on the Caribbean side of the island (the Atlantic side is not as nice). From what I understand, if you're really into food, all-inclusive meals in Antigua are not really great -- good, not great. Buffet-style. And some types of dishes do not work well as buffet fare. Hawksbill is about as far from anywhere as you can get, on the island. The resort will have set up taxi service to St. Johns, I suspect. Expect to go and relax. If you get the same weather I had, you'll enjoy every minute you spend on the beach. Just take lots of sunscreen with you -- it's expensive there. SPF30 to start if you don't have a base down. That sun is hot.
