To answer my own question, the S47 bus only stops at Field 3. It is a long walk, but not bad if you pack well. It took me an hour to walk it, but it was enjoyable because both the scenery and patrons were quite nice. I was especialy pleased to see topfreedom practiced all along the non-nude section, as it is completely legal in New York State.
One note to would be travelers, the bus is really packed on nice days, so get to the bus stop with time to spare, it can leave early if full, and will turn away passengers if necessary.
