what is the best time to visit haulover?

well well, take a beach umbrella and you should be alright, in anycase whatever rain you get down here shouldnt last and doesnt last long [most of the time], maybe 15mins or so at best. in either case, go into the water youll be fine, but it starts thundering, get into a building or something fast, come down/enjoy. this be the SUNSHINE STATE, but sometimes its liquid-sunsine! lol
p/s there is nothing known as safe weather down here, there have been lately 2 that i know of that got killed from lightening that was many miles away and some say that were there, they didnt even hear a storm nearby, so there ya go.

: I'd like to try out haulover but whenever i check weather for miami, it lists thunderstorms seemingly everyday. Is there a time of the year where the weather is "safer" for a visit to haulover? Is there a time of year when the crowd skews a bit younger and better looking?
