I've been looking at several "travel review" websites where customers write about their experiences at various hotels and resorts. Many of the most recent reviews of Desert Shadows naturist resort in Palm Springs, CA have been horrible.
Past reviews of Desert Shadows have been most complimentary. However, the resort was sold to new owners earlier this year. It seems the rave reviews came to an abrupt end late in 2006, probably when it was placed into escrow to be sold. Ever since then, they've been highly critical. Bath fixtures don't work, rooms are dirty, etc. Some complained that the new owners have loud parties past midnight, are unsoeakably rude to guests, and are trying to turn Desert Shadows into a "hedonist" type resort.
Has anyone here actually been to DS in 2007? If so, what was your exoerience? We've wanted to go there for some time, but now we're not so sure. Thanks for any responses.
