I don't mean to be California bashing or Florida bashing but somehow to me hosting a nude beach event in California or Florida seems redundant. You have a whole coastline of nude beaches that are usable most of the year, and so I am suggesting the local population does not really view this as a SPECIAL event...they can enjoy a nude beach experience whenever they want and would not travel several hours for a particular event. But in the Midwest, we have NOTHING, the only exception being one Sunday in July, where hundreds are willing to drive accross several states and pay $50 a head to experience outdoor nudity combined with photography. Yes, guys buying tickets to photograph exotic entertainers and exhibitionist amateurs.
But to escape the circus atmosphere of NAP, AND getting a good turn-out, I would suggest finding a land owner willing to provide an enclosed, secure, private temporary natural campground with swimming pond, for perhaps a 3 day weekend in August. YES, SELL TICKETS. It seems when someone has purchased an advance ticket they are much more committed to showing up. Use the money for a few portable toilets and a safe water supply, and I hate to say it, but trained and friendly security. Participants must BRING willing models and BE willing models, bring their own food and supplies, and agree to respect and clean up the site before leaving. I can see it may take from now until August 2007 to put this in place, and the location should be in the central states where the opportunity to participate would be very unique and appreciated. Just my 2 cents worth.
