Is your wife against natuarism full-stop or does she not mind if other people do it but won't herself? In the latter case is it on on moral grounds or lack of self-confidence? At Coast & Country events there are a few families where the wife is topless or in a one-piece swimsuit while the husband and children are naked. If you could get her to go textile for a few events she might get used to it, take the plunge herself and realise what she is missing. I have seen this happen a few times. If it is on religious or moral grounds the best I can do is to quote the Garden of Eden. God intended us to live naked and we would do if Eve hadn't eaten the forbidden fruit. Therefore it is you that are living closest to God's wishes and not her.
However, I understand your position. I failed to convert my last girlfirend because she said, "I'm not as brave as you." This I couldn't understand as she had been a special constable and survived an abusive husband which I wasn't brave enought to do. She wasn't that good looking (partially due to her husband), but her 3ft legs and 34C bust more than made up for it so it wasn't an "I haven't got the body for it," issue. I used to say to her that an overweight inadequate such as myself could do it so could she, but it cut no ice. Nor did my argument that it would increase her self-confidence.
I'm also careful about telling people that I'm a nudist, but mainly beacause some people think it is a big joke and laugh at me.
What part of the country are you in? I'm from Teesside and Sarah is the lady that I go to nudist events in the York area with, because apart from a not very good unofficial nudist beach near Redcar there is nothing around here. You said in the original email that you were looking for someone in your own age group. Onfortunately we are both over 30, in my case well over so are probably too old for you. Summer did post here, but stopped doing it because of some of the replies she got. All I know about her is her real name and the part of the country she lives in. I do have her email address, but don't want to pass it on until I know more about you.
The best way they can help would be to tell your wife what she is missing. If she had some first-hand accounts of what nudism for women was like it might change her mind. For example Summer told me that after her first nude beach visit, she didn't want to wear a swimsuit again and would be making as many beach visits as possible in future.
