Would love to get to UK and Europe to check out some of these beaches for myself, but am mostly constrained to the Asia-Pac region these days. My one great nude experience in Europe was a groovy spa called Deco in Amsterdam. It had a very funky interior, and was mixed nude use in all of the facilities. It was a great random find (115 Herengracht, if you ever make it there) and I am counting the days until I can get back there.
Anyways, thanks for your feedback on this string Helen (including canvasing your friends!). You and your husband seem to have a great, healthy attitude towards nude beaching. Would be interested to hear the results of your husband's 'research' as to whether he is able to notice outward signs of arousal ;)
Now if the bloody Aussie winter would end so I could actually get back to the beach...
