Yes, I agree with you, to take this types of shots, video-etc. Of nude people in public is not easy and be candid as it were, If there is anyone that could offer any help as to how I can get my shots-which are stills. from my camcorder to my pc, I would share, for some reason I have been having a problem doing this. The setup I have is this. DAZZLE-digital video creator 80, panasonic miniDV that captures on a SD crucial which i believe is a flash MEM card. I know a bit about what i am doing as far as SW and HD. But i just cant get this to work. trying everything I could think of.
: They were absolutely great photos.
: My California Dreaming series took years to produce, literally. People don't understand the difficulty in shooting video of nude people in public, particularly if you want it to be candid.
: That's why you'll never see me criticize others work, as even the worst of the photos on Cocco's took effort.
: : Hey Tarzan:
: : Great job on your Polar Bear Run shots. Most people don't realize how hard it is to take burst shots of running people in bad weather, and yours are quite good! I've delt with rain (killed a camera) and extreme heat (120 degrees in the Colorado River) dust storms (that Desert Festival thing) but have never had to deal with the frigid cold during a snow storm. I don't think I'd trade you! You also picked a great spot to shoot as the corner exposes more people.
: : Welcome to the world of public nudity photography. There are several events within driving distance of Chicago - hopefully you'll try a few of these this year:
: : Jobbie Nooner (Lake St. Clair near Detroit, two times a summer)
: : Nudes a Poppin (Roselawn, IN)
: : Boogie (ABATE of Indiana biker event near Bloominton, IN, same weekend as NAP - the picture is from this event)
: : World Naked Bike Ride (right in Chicago)
: : and Lake of the Ozarks (OK - it's a bit of a drive)
: : Again, great job!
: : Fingers
