We want your video, no matter how short it is, no matter when it was shot. Don't worry, we'll edit the crappy bits out and make it look really professional. Or why not shoot something new? Coccozella.com is packed with ideas for places and events you can go to. Besides free membership, you can get free DVDs, movie downloads, and access to some other websites. If your video is used for clips you will be entered in the contest. We know it is more difficult to send videos than images, so please read on. You can do it!

How to Send Video
Easy... First email us and let us know what you have - tell us something about where and when the video was shot. We also need to know what posting name (Nickname) you wish to use. Make sure your email has a clear subject line so we know it is not spam (we get a lot!). We can accept a videotape, DVD, or video file ftp upload.

Here are some more tips about making this process as satisfying as possible.
Video files are going to be too big to send by email attachment so the preferred method is to upload them to an FTP directory. Once we have made contact with you we will give you the info you need to do this.
We can accept any files such as .MPG .MOV or .AVI - we are not keen on other file types but can try if that's all you have. To make a video file you just need to capture your video to your computer. A full-quality DV file will be too big to deal with so you need to use one of the standard compression formats (.MPG .MOV or .AVI) if it is not already in that form. There are so many variables in how you can do this, we leave it to you to figure out. If all those people on youtube.com can do it, so can you.
Do not shrink the window-size of your video. We would like full-size, at least 640x480. Please do not compress the video too much - we all want good quality, right? 10 minutes of video could be 200 mb easily. You can send HD format as well, but we better consult on the matter first.
When you are ready, email us and we will give you the ftp address you can upload your videofile to. You might have to let it run overnight depending on how big your files are and how fast your connection is.
A lot of people just mail us their original videotapes. Or they make digital "clones" and mail those. Another way to go is to make a DVD of your footage. We can take that disk and use it as source for editing. If you do this, choose the highest quality setting when making the DVD. Once we have made contact with you, we can give you a mailing address to send to. Remember, we will edit your video to keep only the best parts.

Video Contest!
Get your video content to us and you will participate in the next contest. You can enter a few videos of different subjects and topics. Enter as many as you like. Videos can run as long as you like.
Winners are selected through a voting process. Members will choose their 3 favorites and we will tabulate the results to find the three most popular choices. It will take several weeks past the deadline to prepare and post all recent entries. Then voting will take place.
Videos received after the deadline will simply be part of the next video contest. So don't wait - send us your motion picture opus now!
Videos by Iota, Fiveyes, Rafian, Mediterraneo are NOT in the contest. CoccoClips that provide samples from longer movies are also NOT in the contest. So you are not competing against any of those.
