CoccoCard - Coccozella's own branded Credit Card

We've been planning for this for a long time and we think we've got something that you will really find useful and will save you money. We know exactly what your questions are, so here we go...

Yes, it is called "branding". What you will be getting is a CNWB card, branded as a CoccoCard. You will be able to use your CoccoCard wherever CNWB cards are accepted... they say, over 400,000 websites. AdamEve.com (one of the largest on-line adult merchandise stores) has their own branded CNWB card too. You can use your CoccoCard there. If you have an AdamEve card you can use it here as if it were a CoccoCard. Same thing, same discounts. Other popular versions of this card are Cyberage or AdamEve.

Well, you know, unlike those other cards this card is perfect for use on the internet. No one else can ever make unauthorized purchases using your card number because you need to use your PASSWORD to make a purchase. No one but you knows your password. Not even CNWB. It's all encrypted as gobbledygook. Using VISA and Mastercard on-line is pretty safe (we at coccozella.com and the companies we use have not had a problem in the many years we have been at it) but we have all heard the stories about stolen card numbers. But if you lose your CNWB card it is useless without the password (so don't write your password on your card, duh!). BTW if you forget your password you can easily get another one if you can answer certain security questions you set up in advance.

Another thing... some people would rather not have Coccozella purchases or other "adult" purchases appear on their VISA statements. Well, admittedly when it says CCBill or YLCProcessing or Eocio, you don't know it is "adult" but still someone in your household might ask you what it is for, and maybe you don't care to tell them. So it is better to have your monthly CNWB statement separate and perhaps even have it mailed to a different post box. These are options you have.

The first time you use your new CoccoCard number we give you a $25 credit if your purchase total (before shipping and handling) is at least $45. Most people order 2 or more items anyway so this probably applies to you. We will deduct the $25 right off your first purchase. If you already have another type of CNWB card we will give you the same deal the first time you use that card with us. We do this in part because there is a yearly fee for the CNWB CoccoCard of $19.95 (or $9.95 depending on the type of card). We don't get that money, it is CNWB's fee for administering all this (remember, amoung other things they pay for postage to mail you your statements). But we don't want this little fee to be something that discourages you. So we are giving you $25 to cover the cost and give you a little extra.

But here's the really good part: You will get 5% off all your DVD purchases on top of whatever other discounts you might be getting and as a devoted Cocco Customer this will add up over the course of a year. Soon you will also be able to buy subscriptions to coccozella.com and all websites that we administer.

The CoccoCard deals will give you more time for the same price, like maybe 4 months instead of 3 months. We are still working on this.

First go and APPLY FOR THE COCCOCARD (or one of the other suggested cards) and once you are accepted (probably within a minute) you will receive an email asking you to click on a link that will activate your account. You would get your card number and PIN number (password) at this time. Now go back and use our shopping cart to make your DVD/video selections. Lets say you want to buy a Eurobeach DVD and a California Dreamers DVD which comes to an initial total of $47.91. After you click PURCHASE NOW you are on a page where you fill in your shipping address and at the bottom of the page you would select CNWB CoccoCard as your payment method.

Then on the next page you will enter your Card information just as you do for any other credit card purchase, except you will also be asked for your password (PIN). This is the last step and your purchase will be completed. Your credit of $25 does not appear until the transaction has gone through because the system needs to check if this is the first time you are using the card. You will get an email verifying your order and our DVD department will have you on a list of new orders to pack and mail out.

First of all, we think that the card features that we mention above are genuinely attractive and valuable to internet shoppers. You can see that, right? Secondly, we are looking for a payment method that frees us from the conservative and oppressive policies of the banks and large credit card companies. We have to pay huge fees for the "privilage" of being a merchant that can accept Visa and Mastercard charges. I'm not talking about the 3% or 4% that regular merchants pay. "Adult" webmasters are made to pay through the nose.

CNWB is reasonable and they are not concerned about our content. In fact they mostly deal with "adult" merchants already. So you see, if you use the CoccoCard you pay less because we pay less.

Okay, the truth is, you can get it "instantly" if you are in the USA or Canada. If you are from another country you would get a "stored-value" card for international customers (which I explain more about below) and this will take a few weeks to get -- but it's still worth it! Now, if you are in the USA or Canada what happens is that you fill in a bunch of information, maybe more than you are used to, but it is only used to verify that it is okay to extend credit to you through this new card. Strict privacy policies are adhered to. CNWB does a quick credit check by computer and usually within 30 seconds you are given a card number and password that you can use right away to make a purchase here. Your plastic card will come in the mail a few days later.

Well, the first one is like a regular credit card in that you can start buying right away. At the end of the month you get a bill and pay it. If you are not accepted for this card (which usually just means they don't know enough about your track record to confidently give you credit), then you can get the second card, the "value-added" card. Pretty much everyone can get accepted for this card.

What happens with this card is that you first transfer money into the card account either from your VISA/Mastercard or by mailing in a check/money order. Once you have done that you can use your card just like the first card as long as you do not try to buy more than the amount of value in the card. If you decide later that you don't want the card anymore you can cancel it and they will mail you a check for whatever money was left on the card. The third type of CNWB card is for international customers and is also value-added.

Nope. The interest rate is locked at 9.95% per year. Compare that to other cards that are routinely around 20%! It's definitely a good deal. And if you pay your bill in time there is no interest, of course.

Yes you can. CNWB has a website you can log into with your password and see all kinds of account summaries and statements. There's a bunch of interesting features we still have to check out ourselves. But it sounds very sophisticated.

No problem. Instead of ordering the CoccoCard, you can get the Cyberage Card. They have a selection of business-like designs and some other cool designs. You can use these cards here as if they were CoccoCards with the same discounts and deals.
